Amethyst Moon creates mixed media art works across a variety of media, including painting, mosaic, sculpture, assemblage and occasionally, jewellery. She draws inspiration from many things – the natural world, shapes, patterns, current events – but mainly her work explores ideas found in myths, stories and words, such as poetry or lyrics. She has an ongoing obsession with the concept of the Divine Feminine and many of her works feature Goddesses and other notable strong female characters. As well as fine art, Amethyst Moon enjoys creating functional art pieces such as boxes, furniture and art journals.
