Hi I’m Jocelin and I am a Naarm (Melbourne) based artist who recently reconnected with my artist soul after taking a break post BVA in 2007. I am a creative through and through – an Illustrator and Print Maker, and an explorer of other fields.I am passionate about learning, journeying with others, and creating spaces for stories to be told and heard so that people are dignified, connected and welcomed. And this is a strong thread woven though out my work.I use nature and found objects as my inspiration to create these dignified spaces and layer them to which allows the view to connect with the piece but also each other. My hope is that through these metaphors/ similes resonate within people the shadow and light ion their tales, opening up opportunities for conversation, hope and togetherness.Interested in ‘weaving’ with me?
