They look great both stacked or on their ownEach of the rings in this collection is first hand carved from wax, tapering in both width and thickness, then cast in solid sterling silver.Subtlety oxidised and grain set with a Ceylon Sapphire this ring will further oxidised or brighten (slowly) over time with wear.Each ring in the Rugged Rings collection comes with a polishing cloth. Though jewellery is durable it isn’t indestructible! Caring for your jewels is as easy as removing them before physical activities; things such as going to the gym, playing sport, swimming, moving house (lifting heavier things), gardening etc. Avoid showering or sleeping in your jewellery and do not apply perfumes directly as some organic gems may be damaged from this.

As a lifelong gem hoarder making jewellery just seemed like a natural progression. I enjoy working in sterling silver incorporating various natural gems in both cut and rough forms. As a rock geek (qualified gemmologist) I love all coloured stones and have a particular weakness for any gem with an interesting inclusion. My work varies between hand fabricated and cast depending on where inspiration takes me and wearability features very high in my design process.
