As a lifelong gem hoarder making jewellery just seemed like a natural progression. I enjoy working in sterling silver incorporating various natural gems in both cut and rough forms. As a rock geek (qualified gemmologist) I love all coloured stones and have a particular weakness for any gem with an interesting inclusion. My work varies between hand fabricated and cast depending on where inspiration takes me and wearability features very high in my design process.

Since I am personally extremely rough on my jewellery I strongly value both practicality and comfort. Easy to wear gemstones for everyday life is my goal. With this in mind I never work with gems which have unstable treatments such as ‘mystic topaz’ and you will never have to worry about fracture filled gemstones here! Being a gemmologist and passionate about gemstones my customers enjoy the comfort of knowing their gems have been hand selected by a professional.

Custom orders

Natural gemstones vary in availability and can vary greatly in cost. Due to this I like to quote first before taking a deposit. Things I need to know: metal type, finger size, gemstone/s, gemstone shape/size (eg do they want bigger or smaller than the one that caught their eye on the shelf?) Once I have this information I quote the customer and if they are happy to proceed I require 50% deposit for work to begin.
