Description

The classic forbidden cats print now in A5 form!

I love to explore with all types of mediums and media! You will never see my sticking to one form of style for long. Because of this I find myself shifting my interests and products frequently. I love to diversify my art and products and I feel that is one of the big draws people have to my work.I tend to fill my notes app with ideas when I have them or messily thumbnail sketch my idea(s) down onto the nearest paper surface – this is the birthplace to a lot of the products you see today. I won’t lie though, my ADHD does have a tendency to put me into a spontaneous state of one and done projects that have had hours of nonstop time put into them, my Forbidden Cats print is a classic example of this.My stickers are all handmade in house! I design everything on Procreate, print each design out on sticker paper with my Epson printer, Laminate my stickers and then cut them out on my Cricut Machine :)
My handmade patches are printed onto upcycled Calico materials and screen printed with “Permaink” water-based ink. If you need to wash your patch it is recommended to gently wash with cold water and leave to air dry. Machine washing is fine but for best results, washing by hand will retain the boldness of the pigment the longest. Aggressive washing styles may result in the pigment fading over time. Avoid tumble trying and hot water.

Mixed Media Goodies!

I consider myself a jack of all trades as a result of my love for learning, playing and trying all types of things, lately I have been referring to myself as a Mixed Media Artist as I feel this is especially relevant to the work that i am doing now but it also applies to work i’ve done throughout my career. A fundamental part of who I am is my inability to stay in one lane for too long so I tend to shift my interests, products and practises frequently.I am particularly drawn to items, subjects and things that evoke a sense of nostalgia or tell a story. I enjoy themes such as the macabre, spirituality and nature or the cute and humorous. I have a taste for colourful, vibrant and BOLD pieces, especially in relation to graphic design and illustration.Art has been something I have dedicatated time to since I was very young and expanded more seriously in my adolescence. As I discovered more about myself, my art really began to reflect the hard work and effort I had put into growing as a person and improving my skills.
