Hi! I’m Angelica and I am the maker for all the things in Pottique Ceramics. Pottique (pronounced as “pu.tik” means “mud” in Tagalog) is a combination of the words Pots and Boutique.I’ve been working as a Pastry Chef for more than 7 years and decided I want do something that is not as chaotic like the kitchen I always enjoy making something out of nothing so I decided to give pottery a go. And few months later after taking some pottery classes, I decided to buy my own wheel and make ceramics at home.
I currently do a mix of hand building and wheel throwing small batch of ceramics that is mostly inspired by food and anything cute. Due to everything being handmade, products with the same design and concept will have some slight variation in shape, making each piece unique and special. I want my pieces to evoke a sense of childlike wonder towards cute things while still being functional to people of all ages.
