Maryrose_makesclothz manifested 3 years. Anne loves textiles and making clothes in fabrics reflecting texture and colour. As a teacher she worked in China, using the time to explore how fabrics were made and produced. In her spare time Anne went on fabric hunts and gathered heaps of amazing stuff.Back in Melbourne she worked on design ideas, inspired by ways people could wear and enjoy clothing made from beautiful fabrics out side mainstream fashion and mass production. Anne is mindful of slow fashion and the life cycle of the garments she creates. Her garments are unique pieces created to be loved, worn and enjoyed over time. She also creates hand knitted items.
Hand made clothing is an opportunity to wear something you love that lasts. Each piece is unique & hand crafted with care. My customers enjoy knowing they are wearing something different, fun and each stage of the process is managed by the maker of their garment.
Fabrics are natural fibres and ethically sourced. Each garment is created using processes that are not harmful to the environment. Fabrics selected are mindful of comfort, care, long life and enjoyment of the customer.
25% deposit a time frame of 4 weeks, longer for jackets and coats. Hand knitted items 8 weeks. I can also guide in fabric choices subject to availability.
