For artist and founder, Julie, the idea of creating beautiful accessories for people around the world started long before I picked out my first fabric – and I have my Mum to thank for it! My mum couldn’t find the right gifts that felt authentically Australian, were well made and had that luxurious touch, so I decided to! Through my brand, “Koala and Thimble,” I hand select quality fabric prints that showcase Australia and create beautiful handmade accessories you would be proud to give as gifts or keep for yourself!

We chose the name “Koala and Thimble” to reflect our love for Australia and the handcrafted nature of our items made with care and precision. We want to give you the opportunity to not only have something fantastically beautiful and useful for yourself, but also to give the perfect gifts for the family and friends who love a little Aussie surprise.
