Cypress Pine ‘Tree Of Life’ saw pierced wooden Dangly Earrings, 33mm diameter. With Sterling Silver earring hooks.
I completed my BA Craft Degree majoring in Gold and Silversmithing in 1992. I am constantly exploring new ideas and styles. I currently use a variety of metal smithing techniques to achieve patterns and textures with my silver. Some of the techniques I like to use include saw piercing, soldering, cold forging, roll-pressing texture patterns with a rolling mill, and Precious metal clay. PMC is an incredibly versatile material that can be rolled out, cut, embossed, and joined like clay. Once the work of shaping is complete, the piece is fired leaving you with a metal object. I choose to use local recycled woods and different exotic species for their unique colours and patterns. I am also hand-painting some beautiful and colourful mandalas on wood.
Keep wooden pieces away from water. Clean silver pieces with a polishing cloth if they tarnish.

Nature inspired simplistic jewellery

I am a contemporary jewellery artist. I design my pieces to communicate a message that represents my love for nature and my environment or special occasions symbolized through life. I include natural organic forms in my designs and this is why I think of myself as an ‘organic jeweller’. I choose to work with precious metals, semi-precious stones, and exotic woods to demonstrate that wood is as precious as a rare gemstone. I am excited about creating different textures and patterns by hammering or printing into my metal with a rolling mill or using exotic woods that have amazing natural colours and patterns to create unique individual pieces.I am a Contempary Jewellery a
