Combining my two favourite motifs, reflections and hands, this painting shows the capacity for reflections to redefine what is visually possible within our immediate environment. like reflections like this because they contort reality. In my opinion, this makes convex/concave reflections the perfect physical representation of the fact that reality is perceived differently by people, and that there are multiple realities. With this in mind, it’s important to enter new interactions with a flexible perception of what reality is.
