The ‘Skeptical Martian’ Smoking Alien Printed Mug by The Ugly Mug Co.

Hi there!I’m Michaela, an animator/graphic designer who has become disillusioned with my office job (and corporate jobs as a whole).I started The Ugly Mug Co. as a way to bring light and fun to the polished, grey facade of the modern world and combine my two great loves: bold, bright graphic design and homeware/drinkware! For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved homeware. Bus as I’ve become older I’m seeing more and more dreary neutrals and sad grey and beige. Working as a medical receptionist through university amped this up tenfold. So I figured it’s time to breathe some new life into our tired, neutral spaces with a little bit of colour (and sass!)We make our mugs through sublimation printing. I design everything digitally, hand drawing patterns and graphics, before printing and pressing the designs onto each mug.
