The method on upcycling plastic bags originated 14 years ago when I intended to make my art functional, and started upcycling old canvases into wallets. But a friend suggested to look into fusing plastic bags with the heat of an iron and baking paper to make a leather like material that is sewable and I can turn into anything. Ever since I have been playing with plastics and also studying industrial design in 2016 allowed me to experiment and learn a lot on what I can do with heat and plastics using low tech from home such the iron, a sandwich press, a toaster oven and vacuum cleaner. This is an open source project so I put together a small How to Manual where anyone can find the methods to learn everything. It is available at www.aoracreo.com
