Description

Hand built incense stick holders with a half sun in the centre and the words “Sol” stamped into the bottom of the tray in black underglaze. The edges were pinch upward to create a dish that will collect the ash/sediment when the incense stick burns.

Size: Each Sol incense burner varies slightly with a few millimeters give or take, 10.5cm in diameter, 2.5cm high

Made using a lovely earthy mid fire clay body with gorgeous specks throughout.

Made in my little studio in Sydney and stamped on the rear with my custom signature.

How this item was made

I interned at a private pottery studio to learn all aspect to ceramics. Shortly after I completed my internship I was given the opportunity to instruct classes to adults and children. When I create ceramics I love to hand build using various technique- slab building, pinch potting etc. I occasionally throw pieces as well. I also love to create digital media and hand painted media which I then turn into products, such as my sun catchers

Product Care

Ceramics- All my ceramics are glazed in food grade safe glazes. You can put all of my ceramics in the dishwasher and microwave EXCEPT any ceramics with any Pearl or gold lustre.
