The cutie little bat charm on this solid chain bracelet is handmade in wax and cast into recycled sterling silver. The chain itself measures 21cm to the longest link but can be worn shorter.

I make all my pieces in sterling silver in my tiny studio in Fitzroy north. All my chains are handmade, and my pendants and rings are all sculpted in wax and cast in sterling silver. This process means that no two pieces are exactly the same!

Sterling silver will tarnish with wear but can be polished with a soft cloth. Any jewellery with pearls should avoid contact with perfumes, sunscreen and water.

Hello! My name is Kara Vale and I am the maker behind Vale of Chaos. I am a great lover of making a mess whilst wearing too many bangles and chains and jingling all the way down the street. I wanted to create some wearable pieces that really celebrated being a joyful mess. I work mostly with sterling silver as well as some semi-precious stones and occasionally feathers. I have training in Sculpture, Floristry, Millinery and Jewellery production and hope to combine all these learnt loves into something special with Vale of Chaos.
