Sappho’s Angels (Midnight) – Refillable Candle Holder

Whilst we are in many aspects a global business, Angeleen and Victoria are based in Naarm, Melbourne. This business has largely been imagined on the unceded lands of the Kulin Nation.Our artists are scattered globally, our candles are made in Perth & our holders are crafted in China.Experienced and skillful makers based in China create our concrete candle holders. A mould is used to create the holder and is then poured, rested and demoulded. Due to the nature of the material, as well as the intricate design of the artwork, these products are not perfect. Imperfection is to be expected on an artisanal product with this level of detail.Similar to the holders, our candles are made in molds. A specially formulated performance wax is induced with 7.5% fragrance and essential oil to create our custom blends. Due to the nature of wax, these refills are not always perfectly smooth. These are a hand crafted product, each poured, rested and de-moulded specifically for Meltdown
