Each Garland tree has been carefully handcrafted by upcycling discarded pre-loved magazines, such as frankie, collected from our community. Each garland comprises 6 mini trees, each with loop at the top to hang horizontally on the piece of string supplied, vertically as an individual ornament or a cool colourful standalone decoration.The PaperArt trees have been handcrafted by using a variety of creative and fine motor skills, including positioning, punching, matching, folding, pasting and threading.  The hanging loops have been created by measuring and cutting pieces of light green coloured cord, which have been twirled, pasted and positioned inside the centre of the tree before sealing the final layers, drying and threading on to a piece of measured and cut string for decorating.Each creation is inspired by our son’s favourite Christmas stories and are a result of much careful planning and preparation.From passion to purpose, each uniquely handmade piece tells it’s own story and is a testament to what can be achieved by embracing our son’s wonderful Autism abilities and interests, such as The Polar Express movie.
