This cone shaped Christmas Tree has been carefully handcrafted by upcycling discarded newspapers collected from our local community. Each piece of newspaper is cut into three strips which are then individually hand wound around a piece of wooden dowel to make a straw, before being flattened and joined at each end to roll into a variety of different size rounds to create beautiful art forms such as this Cone Tree.
Once moulded and sealed, the Cone Tree is then adorned with either a handmade PaperArt star and mini PaperArt present decoration or a carefully handcrafted 3D star.
Each creation is inspired by our son’s favourite Christmas stories, such as ‘The Polar Express’, and are a result of much careful planning and preparation.
From passion to purpose, each uniquely handmade piece tells it’s own story and is a testament to what can be achieved by embracing our son’s wonderful Autism abilities and interests. They are sure to be perfect for any gift or festive decoration.
