I paint every artworks (acrylic on canvas) in Melbourne CBD using different techniques, Australian-made materials and tools as often as possible. I design the merch and it’s made in Australia, as close as possible from Melbourne. Earrings are made using some prints of my artworks on clear acrylic, printed in Melbourne (by plenty of patterns), gold or silver and genuine lapis lazuli, fluorite and carnelian gemstones. Mugs and tote bags are printed in Australia. The tote bags are made with recycled cotton and eco-friendly inks.

Marie Lines Abstract Art

Original abstract art and merch

French mother of 4 kids born in Europe, Asia and Australia, I moved to Australia (in Melbourne CBD, close to Carlton Garden) in December 2019 and became an Australian citizen in November 2024. After dedicating the first few years of my Australian life to my family, I started to paint abstract paintings (acrylic on canvas) in 2022, to make each viewer reflect on the meanders and uncertainties everybody experience in their life : by creating diptychs, triptychs and larger groups of artworks all painted on identical canvases, using identical colours and identical techniques, each “colourful waves” artworks show how the final product can be very different, including when I tried to create something similar. Since 2024 I’m a casual stall holder at a few local markets close to Melbourne CBD, selling abstract paintings since June 2024, and some merch (tote bags, mugs, clear acrylic earrings and garments) with prints of my most popular artworks since November 2024.
