Long kiss fine silver dangly earrings by Frederik

I work using a few techniques, and my main material of choice is fine silver .999. This is the purest of silvers, and sometimes referred to as the cashmere of silvers. It actually feels softer and warmer to wear. Before anything happens, I get out my sketchbook and draw each design from every angle, how it is put together and often I’ll make a prototype in air clay so I can either try it myself or fit it on my very handy silicone ear to see how it hangs. I work with fine silver metal clay, sterling silver sheet, wire, enamel and resin for those gorgeous pops of colour. Joins are soldered for strength, all have sterling silver fittings and every piece is finished with a lustrous polish because you want that liquid silver finish.
