Geode Crystals – Metamorphia Recycled CollectionJuly 2022Sheets of recycled acrylic are made up of offcut and scrap pieces collected from Celestial Closet and other acrylic jewellery makers, saving this plastic from landfill, and are heat pressed together by Christine in the Celestial Closet studio and laser cut again. All leftover recycled material can be broken up and pressed again.Each recycled jewellery item is listed individually, due to very distinct variations in pattern in the recycled sheets. You will receive the exact item that is pictured.Please note that due to the manual sheet pressing process, that the thickness of recycled sheets may vary, and there may be small surface imperfections such as small dents or pits or uneven surface texture. This adds to the beauty of the final product.Dimensions: The geode crystal piece is 68mm long and 41mm wide at the widest. It hangs from a gold or silver stainless steel 20mm chunky huggie hoop, total drop is approx 88mm.This style is a Chunky Huggie Hoop that opens up in half, with a self-locking clip mechanism.Laser cut recycled acrylic.Designed, laser cut and assembled by Celestial Closet in Melbourne, Australia.Acrylic jewellery care – Please take care with your recycled wearables, ensuring not to get them wet or in contact with liquids such as perfume or makeup which may damage the acrylic or the painted finishes. Store out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.

All Celestial Closet pieces are original artworks, designed, laser cut and produced in-house from Christine’s home studio, with the help of her two laser cutting machines!All earring findings and necklace chains used in Celestial Closet wearable art pieces are hypoallergenic 316 grade stainless steel in either plain silver tone, or ion plated gold/black/rainbow anodised tone. These are chosen for longevity so you can enjoy many magical adventures with your new wearables.Pieces from the Metamorphia Recycled range are created by using heat and pressure to fuse acrylic scraps into new and esoteric, uniquely beautiful acrylic sheets, using scrap and offcut acrylic material from both Celestial Closet and other Australian jewellers working in the same medium.

Acrylic and plywood are strong, but not invincible. Please take care not to drop your wearables on hard surfaces and avoid contact with rough surfaces to minimise scratches. To keep your wearables looking magical, don’t get them wet, and take your wearables off before showering, applying makeup or perfume, or exercising. Your magical wearables can be gently wiped with a clean, dry microfibre polishing cloth to remove dust. Store out of direct sunlight and avoid extreme hot or cold temperatures.
