Being Benign was born after the diagnosis of a benign brain tumor, founder and artist Stephanie decided to turn her recovery into an opportunity. She combined her love of fashion, visual art and self-expression into a clothing label dedicated to turning pre-loved clothing into works of art. She scours the op shop scene to find quality and unique garments. Being Benign started through Stephanie’s love of a classic denim jacket and continues to push boundaries expanding her range to shirts, bags and hopefully one day sneakers. If you are looking for some Disney, Abstract or Anime fun this is the brand for you. While most artists have a particular style I prefer to have a hand in many different styles which helps to expand my skill set while expanding my mind.
