These offcuts represent but a few of the silk ties that have been upcycled as scarves, headbands and scrunchies this year. Every offcut is gorgeous and together these offcuts make a beautiful infinity scarf to be treasured.

How this item was made

I upcycle natural fibres – silk, fine cotton, wool. Too many of these gorgeous fabrics end up in landfill, and its hugely satisfying to salvage a few to turn them into something someone will treasure. I source fabrics from op shops and from customers who are decluttering. The longest part of my process is the reimagining – which fabrics work best together, what creation works best for them, and what do my customers tell me they need/enjoy.
