Affectionately dubbed a ‘crafty witch’, Lauren (The Human) found herself gently persuaded into sharing her creations after an outpouring of admiration for her handmade gifts. From an early age, Lauren has cherished the art of crafting, often rising with the sun to help her grandparents sell at local markets—a passion that naturally led her to showcase her own creations. The tranquillity found in creating things became a driving force behind the birth of Whimsy Meow Meow. What began modestly with a single table has blossomed into a charming array of lovingly crafted accessories. Lauren is committed to sourcing materials predominantly from Australian suppliers, with a special emphasis on supporting small businesses owned by women, people of colour, and members of the LGBTIQA+ community. Every piece at Whimsy Meow Meow is meticulously hand-mixed, poured, and assembled in Naarm/Melbourne, under the watchful ‘su-purr-vision’ of Boba, Luna, and occasional collaborator, Alice (The Cats).
