Susannah of Wishpom works from her studio in the leafy North Eastern burbs of Melbourne. Born and raised in the Blue Mountains, she is a collector of tiny treasures with a passion for social history and the world around us. Susannah is fascinated by the things people keep and the connected stories she uncovers, windows into lost worlds that she endeavours to investigate visually through her arts practice. Her work seeks to explore themes of nostalgia, belonging, identity and place, often challenging the notions of worth and beauty and questioning what is precious.
