Whimsical accessories for everyone

She, Her, They, Them
I’ve always loved jewellery and grew up watching mum get ready to go out and pick something that would match her outfit out of her collection, as I grew up I learned how to bead and string jewellery and eventually how to polish and maintain things for her and I found so much enjoyment in it. When I moved to Australia and came out as bisexual and got to dress myself in the ways that made me comfortable in my own skin, I wanted to make jewellery that I wanted to wear but couldn’t seem to find. Lil’ Ditti’s started as a lockdown hobby and has grown into my small business baby. I create in the loud colours that I love to wear and get to showcase all my interests and aesthetics through the jewellery I make. Polymer clay has no limits on what it can be used to create and I love the flexibility the medium provides. I make everything by hand in my little home office that has had the full bunnings makeover so every piece has been made by these two hands and a lot of love.
Dopamine dressing but for accessories. If you’re into fantasy, bright colours, video games and pop culture, this is the spot for you. Lil’ Ditti’s is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly, as a queer POC creator I make things that I truly believe any body can wear and feel fabulous doing so. Polymer clay is super lightweight which means even the big, elaborate pieces are easy to wear without the weight of traditional metal jewellery. All findings are quality stainless steel and will last forever with care.
I work predominantly with polymer clay, the chemistry student in me loves it because it’s a thermoplastic that’s completely mouldable until you bake it, at which point it becomes a strong, sturdy piece of plastic that is slightly flexible but very durable while remaining super lightweight. As someone with a lot of body mods in the form of tattoos and piercings, it’s important to me that I use high quality materials that will last if cared for properly, all my earring hardware is made of high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel from a local Australian business, I now also stock sterling silver for those of us that have severe metal allergies and can swap hardware on request. All clay pieces can also be made into clip-ons on request :)
If you would like anything made custom in colours of your choice or specific designs that you may have seen but aren’t stocked anymore, please get in touch.I do not charge a customisation fee at the moment while Lil’ Ditti’s is in it’s growing stage, the price of the custom piece will simply be the price of the product that you’re after. Prices will range from $15 – $50, deposit amount will get taken off the total price, please leave your preferred name + pronouns, and the best way to contact you with the store as I will send you a message to discuss the customisation as well as a link to complete your order. All custom orders will require a $15 deposit to be made at the Fitzroy store, the agreed upon remainder must be paid through my website before collection in store.
