Hi! I’m Sheryl and I sell my handmade hair accessories, including hair clips and scrunchies, with fabric and ribbons sourced from various op-shops and fabric stores. I hope my handmade hair accessories will add a touch of sweetness to your daily wear, or give an extra sparkle to your special outfit! I will also be selling art from my partner, AmbiSun, alongside my merchandise. Be sure to check out her amazing work too!
I make hair accessories for people who love wearing bows in their hair, but want a little something uniquely different from what’s commonly seen elsewhere! Many customers adore the long iridescent draping ribbons from the hair clips I’ve made, and it pairs beautifully with ponytails or with your hair down!
Everything I sell at Laceside Sews is hand sewn and assembled by me with care and thought put into the designs. I’d pick out colours and patterns of ribbons that I enjoy, see what kind of vibe they’d have when paired with another ribbon or lace, and prototype some draft designs before settling on a final design that I can be proud of selling!AmbiSun’s work is entirely hand drawn by her using a 24″ cintiq tablet and Adobe Photoshop. Custom orders are available if the you’d like a specific colour for a hair accessory or a certain style of it (e.g. a design based off your favourite character, a cosplay prop etc). Just send me an email at lacesidesews@gmail.com with your name and contact info (email, phone number, or instagram handle), and we can continue talking from there about making your dream accessory! No deposit is needed, and custom prices start at $30 for a specially made hair accessory.
