I think of my jewellery as sculptures for your body, the designs of which are emphasised beautifully by the lustrous and sleek finish of silver. My pieces are bold and playful and designed not to disappear on you. I draw inspiration from the elegant design of my Danish heritage, my work as a cartoonist and the fun figurative jewellery of the 80’s.

My pieces are designed to be felt and noticed. You will love the feeling of the weight in that big solid buckle ring that requires nothing else on your hands or the gentle swing of the sunflower earrings against your face, so bold that no other jewellery is needed. Simple and enough! Add a flash of vibrant colour with my enamelled or resin pieces, some being reversible with silver one side and hot pink the other for 2 completely different looks in one so you can go from day to night.

Process

I work using a few techniques, and my main material of choice is fine silver .999. This is the purest of silvers, and sometimes referred to as the cashmere of silvers. It actually feels softer and warmer to wear. Before anything happens, I get out my sketchbook and draw each design from every angle, how it is put together and often I’ll make a prototype in air clay so I can either try it myself or fit it on my very handy silicone ear to see how it hangs. I work with fine silver metal clay, sterling silver sheet, wire, enamel and resin for those gorgeous pops of colour. Joins are soldered for strength, all have sterling silver fittings and every piece is finished with a lustrous polish because you want that liquid silver finish.

Custom orders

I love custom orders. Either a tweak to an existing design, a change in size or a special request for something completely different, provided it is in keeping with the materials I currently use. 20% payment deposit for custom orders please.
