Christine is the magic maker behind Celestial Closet! A self-confessed geek of many domains, she spends her days working in the website admin field, and her nights dabbling in her many creative hobbies, including gaming, singing and crafting!Celestial Closet pieces are designs to bring magic to the everyday, with earrings, brooches and necklaces inspired by fantasy, nature and adventure.
I create my wearable art designs to transport my customers to a world of fantasy and magic – to worlds of their own imagination. Timeless pieces that can go with you on a journey, and encourage exploration and start conversation. Some Celestial Closet designs include pieces inspired by Chinese (Cantonese) celebrations, traditions and foods – customers can proudly wear and display artworks that reflect their own cultural background and which evoke nostalgic memories and experiences.
All Celestial Closet pieces are original artworks, designed, laser cut and produced in-house from Christine’s home studio, with the help of her two laser cutting machines!All earring findings and necklace chains used in Celestial Closet wearable art pieces are hypoallergenic 316 grade stainless steel in either plain silver tone, or ion plated gold/black/rainbow anodised tone. These are chosen for longevity so you can enjoy many magical adventures with your new wearables.Pieces from the Metamorphia Recycled range are created by using heat and pressure to fuse acrylic scraps into new and esoteric, uniquely beautiful acrylic sheets, using scrap and offcut acrylic material from both Celestial Closet and other Australian jewellers working in the same medium.
